29th Annual Belmont Shore Car Show

The 29th annual Belmont Shore Car Show, hosted by Darrell Gilbert and AK Darcy Shows and Events, took place on Sunday, September 9th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Stretching across 14 blocks between Livingston Drive and Bay Shore Avenue, the event featured over 750 vehicles and attracted a crowd of more than 30,000 people. Visitors enjoyed not only classic cars but also a variety of vendors, making it a day to remember.

This year’s show welcomed all cars of a “certain age,” from stock models to hot rods, rat rods, and custom vehicles. Popular classic brands like Ford, Chevrolet, and Cadillac were well-represented, adding a nostalgic flair to the event. Transitioning through the blocks, each car seemed to tell its own story, sparking memories for longtime enthusiasts and new fans alike.

The 29th annual Belmont Shore Car Show remains a cherished tradition, highlighting the passion and craftsmanship of automotive enthusiasts. Thanks to the Belmont Shore Business Association’s strong support, this event continues to thrive, reminding us of both Long Beach’s rich history and its vibrant car culture. This beloved car show brings the community together, preserving the past while celebrating the present in style.
