42nd Annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach 2016

Toyota Grand Prix (Long Beach, CA)
April 15-17, 2016

For three days out of the year, Long Beach is host to one of the most famous street racing courses in the world. It is an amazing spectacle to experience as professional drivers from Indycar, IMSA, Pirelli World Challenge, Stadium Super Trucks, and Formula Drift tackle this challenging course.  This was also the last year of the Toyota Pro/Celebrity car race which utilized Scion FR-S vehicles.

But what makes this event so much fun?  Is it the fast speeds, the loud engines, the smell of racing fuel, or the beautiful weather in Long Beach?  Or can it just be all of the above instead?  Whatever type of racing you prefer, the Grand Prix had something for you.  And when the sun went down on Friday and Saturday, the fans could experience the Motegi Super Drift Challenge as drivers smoked their tires through turns 9-11.  You can see this coverage at https://carculturetv.com/motegi-racing-super-drift-challenge-results/
