2018 In Memory of Paul Walker

2018 In Memory of Paul Walker
Santa Clarita, CA

The car community always comes together, especially for a good cause.  This particular car meet was held in memory of Paul Walker and benefitted the charity he founded, Reach Out WorldWide. Per their mission statement,

“Reach Out WorldWide (ROWW) is an agile group of first-responders and other professionals in the medical and construction related fields who augment local expertise when natural disasters strike in order to accelerate relief efforts. Our mission is to deploy quickly and efficiently so that we are able impact as many people as possible in the most effective way we can. We are often the first type of assistance a village/town has seen.”

It was amazing seeing the line of people waiting to get into this event.  I stayed there until 1 pm that day and hundreds of people were still lined up around the parking lot trying to get in.  I think the organizing committee needs to look at a bigger venue since it attracted so many people that day.

Some of the notable cars at the event included vehicles/replicas from the Fast and the Furioius movies as well as the many exotics that are rarely seen at shows.  The ones that stood out were the Bugatti Chiron (500 units will be built), Koenigsegg Regera (80 units will be built), and the Pagani Huayra BC (one of just 20 that will be built).  There is so much attention to detail in addtion to their raw power in these cars.  They are simply works of art.  But it weren’t just the exotics that caught my eye at the show.  It was great seeing the the many modified domestic, import and euro vehicles too.
